We wanted to share this poem written by A’nia Bryant “The Girl Who Love’s Gymnastics,” because this caught us by surprise. It makes you pause, think and ask yourself questions. For example, what does God have planned for her future?

I Am the Girl who can do Gymnastics.
I wonder what homeless people are doing.
I hear that homeless people are hungry.
I see that homeless people do not have houses.
I want to feed homeless people.
I Am the Girl who can do Gymnastics.

I pretend to play doctor with my cousin.
I feel that homeless people should have homes.
I touch homeless hearts.
I cry about stuff that hurt me.
I Am the Girl who can do Gymnastics.

I understand that homeless are homeless.
I say that you will get a home to the homeless.
I dream about the homeless people.
I try to help the homeless people.
I hope that the homeless people have homes.
I Am the Girl who can do Gymnastics.
