The Acuity Scheduling system is setup to only allow you to book as many appointments that will fit into your available schedule. For example, if your hours of operation are from 9:00am – 5:00pm with 60 minute sessions, your last available appointment would be 4:00pm. Here’s what I mean.
Let’s say your hours of Availability are Monday – Friday from 9:00am – 5:00pm with a 1-hour lunch break. Your availability would look something like this (9:00am – 12:00 pm, 1:00pm – 4:00pm) with each session being 60 minutes long.
How flexible can I create my schedule?
If you need to change your schedule for one day in particular to reflect a completely different schedule, no problem. Simple make a few changes to your availability or specialty days and you’re all set.
And for those of you who don’t work on holiday’s such as Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas and a few others, no problem. Simple build into your schedule the days you want off (or come back later and add the days off you need) and you’re all set. No one will be able to book appointments on those days.
